I've found a stealth game I actually enjoyed playing.Top down stealth-em-up, with flashlights & predictable enemy movement, combined with rock hard level design/puzzles through the optional achievements; first few levels are total "ease you in tutorials" & then it starts getting *hard*, but never punishing.I dig. And I don't say that about stealth games very often.. basic but the achievments are easy so it gets a thumbs up from me. The game won't stop subtly nagging me to review it after every level, so I'm going to indulge it. With my foot up its♥♥♥♥♥A lot of terrible game reviewers call it "Bomberman + Metal Gear" in all of their dry, cliched, poorly written ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t. I like to call it a cross between the keycard hunts from Doom (the most boring part) and a bad stealth game with one-hit deaths and sloppy, unintuitive stealth mechanics that feels and plays like it was made in 1992. So essentially, I think a better name for this game would be "Are You Afraid Of Keycard Hunts In The Dark? For Windows 3.1".. A simple action-adventure concept that leads to some clever level design and challenging action. Can you survive the escape?. PROS: Easy to play, very straightforward puzzle-like stealth gameplayCONS: The rules as to what enemies can "hear" don't seem well defined, some of the later levels are just pure trial and error instead of logic and take way too many attempts to solveOVERALL: Don't pay full price for this, get it on sale. Expect a game which is fun for the first 75% and frustratingly tedious for the final 25%. Expect about 5~8 hours of gameplay to see and do everything.. Dynamite Jack feels like a finnish homebrew from the nineties. I wager that this was a game that was made technology first, design later. The story is slapped on, the art direction is nonexistent, the levels are simple and uninteresting and the game introduces pretty much all of its few features in the first couple of levels. I see no reason to recommend nor play Dynamite Jack.. Another stupid easy game.5/10ez 100%. Just another stealth game on Steam? Kinda. Overall its pretty okey game, requires few hours from player, some of achievemnts and levels in the end is a little bit challenging. If it happens, that you have this game on library and you are ok with avarage stealth game, I guess its worth playing through.. It took me about 3 hours to finish this game , pretty short , but definitelty appropriate for its way of playing , annoied if any longer in my perspective . Beyond the story line , you can download maps from in-game community ,which has a good chance to level up its game experience , though I didn't try it . For me , it is not a great game , nor worthy of 9.99 USD. But if you bought it at a lower price and just try to have it for fun in a short period , then it isn't a bad choice. If you are looking for a good game , I don'k think it is the one.
